United opposition elects leader

Heads of oppositional parties have elected Yulia Tymoshenko (head of the Batkivshchyna party) leader of United opposition.

The press service of the Batkivshchyna party disclosed to UNIAN that they made this decision at sitting of the Council of United opposition “Batkivshchyna” today.

First deputy head of the Batkivshchyna party Oleksandr Turchynov, leader of the Front of Changes party Arseniy Yatsenyuk, chairman of Reforms and Order party Serhiy Sobolev, chairman of the People’s Movement of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk, leader of “For Ukraine!” party Vyacheslav Kyrylenko and first deputy head of the People’s Self Defense Yuri Hrychmak took part in the sitting.

A. Yatsenyuk was appointed as head of Council of United Opposition and O. Turchynov was appointed as a head of the central electoral headquarters of United opposition.
