BYuT to sue VR Speaker Moroz
For alleged accusations of bribing electors
The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko has intent to turn to court today with a suit against Oleksander Moroz, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of the fifth convocation, for disseminating an information that as if BYuT bribed its electors.
According to the BYuT press-service’s statement, forwarded to UNIAN, “Bribery – is what O.Moroz have been busy with for all his life. He, without any hesitation, sold his electors for thirty pieces of silver, destroyed the Socialist Party of Ukraine, and made treason and corruption his second nature (or, maybe, the first)”.
The BYuT press-service stresses BYuT does not have to pay money to its electors, as “we are confident of our victory, contrary to Moroz”.
“You can buy the chair of Speaker for money, but not the people’s trust”, the statement reads.
The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko is confident that after the election of 30 September, O.Moroz “will have to go to courts and beg pardon for his lie”.
As UNIAN reported earlier, at a meeting with representatives of diplomatic missions, accredited in Ukraine, on 20 September, O.Moroz accused BYuT of bribing electoral commission members that they provide the necessary result of voting.
