June 26, the day the High Specialized Court for Civil and Criminal Cases will hear former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal in the so-called "gas case", will be a crucial day for the ex-premier’s release, her daughter, Eugenia, has said, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"We want to urge the entire democratic community, the entire democratic world to use all possible measures so that on June 26 justice is restored in this case," Eugenia Tymoshenko said in an interview with RFE/RL’s Azerbaijani Service.

According to her, during the first visit to Ukraine by the mission from the European Parliament (EP), comprised of former EP President Pat Cox and former Polish President Aleksander Kwaśniewski, were unable to meet with her mother because she is being "deliberately isolated by the prison service and the presidential administration." She also said that the EP mission will try again to meet with the ex-premier.
