Füle: friends of Ukraine are disappointed, when they see scuffles in Verkhovna Rada

European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle calls upon lawmakers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to civilized cooperation among themselves.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this today delivering a speech at the 19th sitting of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee in Strasbourg.

“I should say that friends of Ukraine are disappointed, when they see scuffles in Verkhovna Rada or when they hear how lawmakers openly name each other liars and criminals”, said the Commissioner.

According to the words of Štefan Füle, the public in the European Union asks whether successful constitutional, judicial and other reforms, which are necessary for consensus, are possible in such conditions.
