Important reforms do not take place in Ukraine – PACE President

PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon believes that reforms do not take place in Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this in Strasbourg today opening the 3rd part of the PACE session this year.

“We look at Ukraine. For the present important reforms do not take place in the country on the eve of the parliamentary elections”, - he said.

Jean-Claude Mignon also expressed anxiety about situation concerning ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.

“I hope that Yu. Tymoshenko will get freedom again. The court will start consideration of her complaint tomorrow”, - noted the PACE President.
