Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his visiting Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan on Monday have discussed the Euro 2012 tournament, putting a premium on the progress in Ukraine`s development during the event, according to Xinhua.

"We will continue to use the infrastructure that has been prepared for Euro 2012 actively. Infrastructure development means the development of tourism,economy, integration processes," Yanukovych said.

Good mood of fans in the stadiums and in the fanzones was the best proof of Ukraine`s Euro 2012 success, Yanukovych said.

Sargsyan, for his part, noted positive changes in Ukraine`s economy and society during the tournament

"You managed to put everything in perfect order. Kiev is a very nice city. I thank you for this and I congratulate you," Sargsyan said, while adding that the Euro 2012 was a great holiday.

Sargsyan arrived in Kiev on Sunday. He attended the Euro 2012 final match between Spain and Italy along with Yanukovych and a number of other European country`s leaders.
