European court answers claim of Lutsenko

European court of Human Rights answered the claim of former Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko.

Lawyer of Yuri Lutsenko Valentina Telichenko said by phone from Strasbourg to an UNIAN correspondent that European court gave corresponding judgement during hearings in Strasbourg.

“The court declared violation of the article 5 (Convention on Human Rights-UNIAN) – illegality of taking of Y. Lutsenko into custody. The court also declared presence of political motifs”, - said V. Telichenko.
