Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg met today with Eugenia Tymoshenko in Prague, according to Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko. They discussed the unlawful imprisonment of Yulia Tymoshenko, Yuriy Lutsenko and other political prisoners, reports RFE/RL.
Yulia Tymoshenko’s daughter informed the Czech minister of the latest developments in her mother`s trial, the new cases, and delay of proceedings. "Karel Schwarzenberg and the international relations committee of the Czech Senate support my mother and the democratic forces in Ukraine in their struggle," she said.
Karel Schwarzenberg has repeatedly expressed his support for Ukrainian political prisoners, stressing that "equal conditions must be created in Ukraine for all participants of the parliamentary elections."
