News conference of Yanukovych is carried over

Yanukovych invites leadership of Verkhovna Rada to discuss situation in parliament.

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych invited leadership of the parliament and leaders of the parliamentary factions to meet at 11.30 am in the parliament and discuss ways of settlement of the situation connected with events, which took place during morning sitting.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the news conference of the head of the state, which was scheduled at 11.30 am, was carried over. Time and date will be announced later.

As UNIAN reported earlier, this morning Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn and Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mykola Tomenko resigned today because of adoption of “language law”.
