Verkhovna Rada refuses to include in agenda issue on resignation of Lytvyn


The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine refused to include in agenda an issue concerning resignation of Volodymyr Lytvyn from the post of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, no lawmaker from 287 lawmakers registered in the session hall voted for this decision.

Before the voting member of the faction of the People’s Party Kateryna Vashchuk said that her political force does not support change of leadership of the parliament and resignation of Speaker V. Lytvyn.
