Preliminary election results to become known by 5 a.m. of 1 October
If everything is ok with the electronic system
Deputy President’s Chief of Staff, President’s representative to CEC Maryna Stavniychuk forecasts that the outcome of the snap poll will become known earlier than the outcome of the parliamentary election in 2006.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today.
M.Stavniychuk stressed that, being the former CEC member, she forecasts that by 5 a.m. of 1 October, there will be the preliminary results, if everything is ok with the electronic system.
She also forecasts that as early as in the morning of 1 October, CEC will begin to receive the authentic protocols and will focus on establishing the official result of the election.
In line with the Ukrainian legislation, the Central Electoral Commission of Ukraine must establish the official result of the snap parliamentary poll till 15 October.
