Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has asked doctors to resume treatment of her back, which had to be interrupted due to an unidentified skin ailment, according to Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko. "Yulia Tymoshenko asked that treatment resume because, unfortunately, she has been denied access to pain killers," said Serhiy Vlasenko.
On July 19, the lawyer announced that Yulia Tymoshenko’s health had worsened in connection with an unidentified skin disease.
"Two weeks ago Yulia Tymoshenko had to stop treatment for her back in the Kharkiv hospital because of an unidentified skin disease that has affected nearly 50 percent of her body. Even though the Kharkiv doctors examined her and recorded this in her medical file, they can’t determine the cause of the disease," Serhiy Vlasenko told reporters.
According to him, the rash made it impossible to continue other procedures. "Because Yulia Tymoshenko is not getting treatment for her back, her medical condition has worsened. We are waiting for the German doctors to arrive and resolve this issue," he said.
