Party of Regions central HQ chief Borys Kolesnikov claims about the significant advantage of the party over other participants of the electoral process.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, B.Kolesnikov claimed this at a briefing in the Party of Regions headquarters, commenting on the results of the National Exit-Poll.
“Our reaction is absolutely calm. We know that there is a significant advantage of the Party of Regions, compared with the second political force”, B.Kolesnikov said.
According to him, the results of exit-polls were prepared without taking into account the eastern regions. At the same time, he stressed in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Lugansk Oblasts, which are basic for the Party of Regions, the turnout of voters is much more than at the parliamentary election in 2006.
Asked whether the Socialist Party has a chance to overcome the 3% barrier, B.Kolesnikov said: “Hope springs eternal in the human breast”.
