The Party of Regions is ready to take part in the presidential election.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Party of Regions political council member Serhiy Levochkin claimed this to journalists today.
“The Party of Regions has a good experience of work in opposition, and it achieves high results after that. I would like to remind that the presidential election is not far off”, S.Levochkin said.
According to him, the political forces, which launched the parliamentary campaign in 2007, expected to significantly increase their own rating before the presidential campaign.
“We are thinking about the regular presidential campaign, because there are no grounds to speak about another snap poll”, S.Levochkin stressed.
He is convinced that the party carried out a good electoral campaign – open, fair, and democratic.
S.Levochkin stressed that Party of Regions leader Victor Yanukovych will speak out at a rally in the center of Kyiv tomorrow.
