Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defence leader Yuri Lutsenko said that the Bloc is ready to support the candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko for the post of the Prime Minister after the creation of the joint governmental coalition.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Y. Lutsenko said this at the press conference at the press center of the OU-PSD. Answering for the question of journalists, whether it is agreed, who will be the Prime Minister and Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Y. Lutsenko said that “I have suspicions that the BYUT will propose the candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko for the post of the Prime Minister. If it happens we will support her”.
After that, Y. Lutsenko said that candidacies for other posts have not been discussed as yet. He underlined that he is ready to refuse from some post in the name of creating the OU-PSD – BYUT coalition in the new parliament. Y. Lutsenko also said the name of the future coalition can be “Government of People’s Trust” or “Government of People’s Trust and Hope”.
