“Being the winner of the election, we have a right to form the coalition..."

The Party of Regions will begin talks on creating the coalition as early as on 1 October.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, party leader Victor Yanukovych claimed this in his electoral HQ today.

“Being the winner of the election, and I’m confident that we won, we have a right to form the coalition, and will invite partners to talks, as soon as we receive the preliminary result of voting”, Victor Yanukovych said.

The Party of Regions leader believes that all political forces, which overcame the 3% barrier, have a right to join their talks. “We will organize this process”, he said.

Victor Yanukovych called on all political forces to abstain from their political ambitions, and apply forces to form the power as soon as possible, “as there are many problems to solve”.

“The most important is not the struggle for chair, but for economics”, he emphasized.
