The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko and Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense Bloc ready to yield to opposition the post of one of deputy Prime Ministers. BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to journalists today, after a meeting with President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and leaders of parties, which entered the parliament.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yulia Tymoshenko noted that the rights of the opposition in the future parliament, as well as in executive power bodies, must be significantly broadened.
Besides, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed, BYuT and OU-PSD believe it possible to give to opposition representatives the posts of deputy Ministers, deputy Oblast governors.
“The opposition will get much wider rights”, she said.
According to her, BYuT and OU-PSD also consider expedient to include opposition representatives into supervisory councils at state-owned enterprises.
“We will be the first power, which will not hide anything from the opposition”, she said.
In his turn, OU-PSD leader Yuri Lutsenko stressed that the opposition will receive posts of deputy Ministers, including in the military and policing branch of government.
“In such a way, the opposition will have access to absolutely all information”, he noted.
