Within nearest time the Govt has to build such a system which would afford introduction in Ukraine a mechanism of executive power succession. Such an opinion was aired by Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych on opening today’s Govt’s session, according to the government’s press-office. “We have to build such a system, irrespective of those being at power. The succession of state programs, succession in neighbor relations are constituents, present in all developed democratic countries,” he stated.
Viktor Yanukovych appealed to all the officials and state employees to cease intrigues and proceed to work. “My stance is simple – there are political forces which are participants of election process, they engage in these issues. Those who have resumed work after election vacations must fulfill their responsibilities, take up the matters of regions, branches,” Premier emphasized.
In addition he imparted that the first question to consider in parliament of a new convocation will be draft State Budget 2008. “I’m convinced that after summing up the results and their announcement Verkhovna Rada will start its session and primary issue to address is the State Budget,” Viktor Yanukovych promised.
