Ukraine 2012 inflation projected to be 4 to 5 pct

Ukraine's inflation may stand at 4 to 5 percent this year, far below the government's 7.9 percent forecast, Trade Ministry said Wednesday, according to Xinhua.

"From my point of view, year-on-year inflation will not exceed 4 to 5 percent," Petro Poroshenko, minister of trade and economic development, told reporters.

Ukraine's annual inflation cooled to 4.6 percent in 2011 from 9.1 percent a year earlier.
