President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski and President of the USA Barack Obama discussed approaching of Ukraine to the west after the recent parliamentary elections.

Obama talked to Komorowski about Ukraine

According to PolskieRadio, a telephone talk of the Presidents of Poland and the USA took place in the evening on Sunday. According to Undersecretary of State at the Polish President’s Office Jaromir Sokołowski, in a telephone talk B. Obama congratulated President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski on the occasion  of Independence Day and asked to convey greetings to all Poles.

The President of Poland “thanked the American President for memory…”. Also Jaromir Sokołowski added that “Bronisław Komorowski congratulated B. Obama on victory in presidential elections and expressed a hope for further deepening of the Polish-American relations, particularly in economic area”.

At the same time Jaromir Sokołowski added that B. Komorowski and B. Obama also spoke about a perspective of approaching of Ukraine to the West after the recent parliamentary elections.
