Results of parliamentary elections in Ukraine are officially publicized
The results of the parliamentary elections in Ukraine are officially publicized in “Golos Ukrainy” newspaper.
20 million 759 thousand 472 out of 35 million 800 thousand 129 citizens, which were introduced into lists of voters took part in parliamentary elections of Ukraine, which took place on October 28 on majoritarian system. Moreover, 20 thousand 570 out of 424 thousand 536 citizens, which were included into the lists of voters abroad, voted at 116 electoral districts.
On the basis of processing of protocols of 225 district electoral committees the Central Electoral Commission announced official results of elections in multiseat electoral district on November 10.
In this way, 5 political parties – the Party of Regions, the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union, the UDAR party, the Communist Party of Ukraine and the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union – entered the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 7th convocation.
Moreover, the CEC recognized 220 lawmakers as elected in majoritarian districts. In particular, 185 lawmakers are elected to the VRU from the Party of Regions, 101 lawmakers are elected to the VRU from the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union, 40 lawmakers are elected to the VRU from the UDAR party, 37 lawmakers are elected to the VRU from the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union, 32 lawmakers are elected to the VRU from the Communist Party of Ukraine, 43 self-nominees and 7 representatives of other parties.
In 5 single-seat electoral districts- №№ 94, 132, 194, 197, 223- the results of expression of popular will have not been recognized.
