Lawyers Andriy Kozhemyakin and Serhiy Sas have given former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko an appeal from the three opposition parties in parliament – Batkivshchyna, UDAR and Svoboda – urging her to end her hunger strike, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"Yulia Tymoshenko thanked them for the letter, read it and said that she will make her decision soon," Andriy Kozhemyakin said.
He said that despite her fighting spirit, Yulia Tymoshenko "looks like someone who hasn’t eaten in 16 days."
The lawyer said that Yulia Tymoshenko wants the new parliament to make the adoption of 12 socioeconomic laws a priority. "This includes the law on pension reform, the tax code, the law on the Ukrainian language and on land," Andriy Kozhemyakin said.
