President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych congratulated Xi Jinping on election on the post of the General Secretary of China’s Communist Party Central Committee.

The President expressed hope for further dynamic development of bilateral relations of strategic partnership , fulfilling of current arrangements on implementation of scale projects in different areas of cooperation, expanding of humanitarian contacts between the Ukrainian and Chinese peoples.
