“More than 300 parliament members will vote for the candidacy of Tymoshenko for the post of prime minister”, leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk expressed this opinion in the air of 1+1 television channel today.
Moreover, M. Katerynchuk thinks that the part of the future fraction of the Party of Regions, Communists and the Lytvyn’s Bloc will vote for appointing of Yulia Tymoshenko for the post of the prime minister of Ukraine. “During the previous voting for Tymoshenko – prime – minister (February 2005) there was the similar situation, however 373 parliament member voted for her. I think that the same situation will be this time”, noted M. Katerynchuk.
At the same time he noted that, that “besides all rhetorical statements of representatives of the future opposition, the Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defence Bloc and that BYUT fulfilled their promise before the electors – democratic coalition is formally created today. “As opposed to the Party of Regions and its alliances in the parliaments of the 5th convocation, the signing of the previous documents concerning the formation of the coalition is evidence of this”, the press service of the European Party of Ukraine quotes M. Katerynchuk.
