Lawmaker Andriy Klyuev offered candidacy of current Speaker of the Parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn for the post of the chairman of preparatory lawmaker group on organization and carrying out the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the new convocation.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, it was offered during the first sitting of the preparatory group.

In response member of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union Ruslan Koshulynskyi offered to elect chairman of the group from the opposition representatives.

In his turn V. Lytvyn called upon representatives of opposition not to do “some politics” concerning this case. He said: “It is a practice that the Speaker of the former Verkhovna Rada carries out all preparatory work”.

“It does not mean any preferences for future. I do not demand it”, - said V. Lytvyn.
