President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych invited President sheikh of United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Ukraine when it will be convenient for him.
The press service of the head of the Ukrainian state disclosed to UNIAN that V. Yanukovych said this during the negotiations with President of UAE in Abu Dhabi today.
The President of Ukraine expressed a persuasion that the meetings at the highest level promote development of relations between the countries. “We consider United Arab Emirates to be important partner in development of the trade-economic relations in the East”, - said V. Yanukovych.
In his turn President of United Arab Emirates noted that the our countries are connected by good relations and it is necessary to develop it for the benefit of the peoples of Ukraine and UAE.
“Your visit will broaden aspects of the bilateral cooperation”, - said the President of UAE. He expressed hope that exchange of visits between high officials of both countries will continue in future.
During today’s negotiations in a broadened staff the Presidents of Ukraine and UAE discussed issues of the bilateral cooperation. After that the meeting of the heads of the states in “tête-a-tête” format took place.
As UNIAN reported earlier, V. Yanukovych stays on an official visit in UAE.
