President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych underlines necessity of stirring up of work of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Emirate commission.
According to the press service of the head of the state, V. Yanukovych said this during the meeting with Vice President, Prime Minister, Defense Minister of UAE and constitutional monarch of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Within a framework of the Intergovernmental commission V. Yanukovych offered to create subcommittees, which will be responsible for development of cooperation in different directions.
The President also believes it is necessary to create all conditions for cooperation of businessmen from Ukraine and UAE.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues concerning development of cooperation in agricultural complex, military-industrial area and trade area.
The President noted that Ukraine is interested in contacts at the highest level with United Arab Emirates. V. Yanukovych invited Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to visit Ukraine.
