Interrogation of Melnichenko on case of Pukach is carried over because of illness of ex- major

Pechersk District Court of Kyiv postponed an interrogation of ex- major of State Guard Department Mykola Melnichenko as a witness on the case against ex-General of the Interior Ministry concerning murder of journalist Georgiy Gongadze because of illness of ex- major.

Lawyer of widow of the journalist Myroslava Gongadze Valentina Telichenko said this to UNIAN.

According to her words, the court received an application from M. Melnichenko with a certificate that he is ill and he asks to carry over an interrogation.
