The government will provide full support of national projects’ implementation, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych. It was stated by the President in Doha, at the presentation of national projects and investment opportunities of Ukraine. “As the President, I guarantee that this position will stay unchanged,” Viktor Yanukovych said.
The President invited Qatari businessmen to participate in the Second international investment conference in Kyiv, on December 7. “Do not lose the opportunity to get acquainted with Ukraine,” he said.
The Head of State noted that Ukraine had one of the most dynamic economies in Europe with a huge potential for growth. “Ukraine is the state that has highly developed economy, including high-tech spheres like aircraft building, shipbuilding, computer technologies and highly qualified human resources,” the President emphasized.
In that context, he reminded that two years ago Ukraine had started the implementation of large-scale reforms aimed at improving the investment process. “We have defined the major spheres of our economy that are attractive for investments. First of all, these are the energy sphere (traditional and alternative), infrastructure and agricultural sphere. In these spheres, Ukraine is the global player,” the Head of State said.
According to him, the implementation of large-scale national projects with full support from the government had been initiated in all mentioned spheres. “These projects can be especially interesting for you,” Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
In the presence of the President, the Memorandum on Mutual Understanding between Trade-Industrial Chamber of Qatar and State Agency on Investments and National Projects Management of Ukraine has been signed.
