Nobody offers Lytvyn to be Speaker

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn assures that nobody held negotiations with him concerning possibility of his re-election for the post of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of the next convocation.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, V. Lytvyn said this at press conference, answering question, whether somebody holds negotiations with him concerning his re-election for the post of Speaker.

“There are a lot of meetings, talks and consultations, but there were not talks concerning this issue with me…”, - said V. Lytvyn.

He noted that he wants to work in the Education and Science Committee of the Parliament of the next convocation.
