Special representatives of the European Parliament studying the situation in Ukraine involving former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko, Aleksander Kwasniewski and Pat Cox, plan to present their report to the leadership of the EP in early January, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"They will make another visit to Ukraine on December 17-19 and in early January, on the 9th, they will present their report to the president of the European Parliament and the Conference of Presidents," UNIAN quoted a representative of EP President Martin Schulz as saying.

The EP head’s office also said that a decision will be made on the possible extension of the mission based on the report.

In June 2012 the European Parliament appointed former EP President Pat Cox and former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski to monitor court proceedings involving Yulia Tymoshenko.

The work of the mission was suspended ahead of the parliamentary elections but resumed in November.
