Yanukovych and Putin plan to discuss issues of cooperation in gas area on December 18 – Zurabov

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Russia Vladimir Putin plan to carry out a meeting in Moscow on December 18 in order to discuss an issue concerning bilateral cooperation, primarily, in gas area.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Ambassador of the RF to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov said this to journalists.

He stressed that this meeting can take place only if concrete arrangements concerning  cooperation in gas area are reached.

At the same time the Ambassador of the RF to Ukraine said that the main topic of negotiations will be cooperation in energy area.

“The main topic is cooperation in energy area”, - said M. Zurabov.
