President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Russia Vladimir Putin will hold the negotiations in “tête-a-tête” format in Moscow today, after that a ceremony of signing the bilateral documents will take place.

According to the program, an arrival of the President of Ukraine is planned on Ukrainian special aircraft “A-319” in “Vnukovo-2” international airport at about 17.20 pm (Moscow time), after that the Ukrainian delegation will go to the Kremlin.

The meeting of two presidents will take place in “tête-a-tête” format during 15 minutes and after that the signing ceremony of the bilateral documents will take place. At the same time it is not specified what documents will be signed.

After that the statement of the presidents for mass media representatives is planned.

The negotiations of V. Yanukovych and V. Putin will continue in a broadened format after a working lunch after 19.00 pm (Moscow time).

It is planned that V. Yanukovych will return in Kyiv in the evening today.

The press service of the President of Ukraine reported earlier that during the meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin V. Yanukovych plans to discuss a range of urgent issues of the Ukrainian-Russian cooperation, in particular, in energy and trade-economic areas.

They will also paid attention to elaboration of mutually acceptable mechanism of interaction of Ukraine with the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

It is expected that besides V. Putin, Vice-Chairman and CEO of Gazprom Alexei Miller, and Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak and head of the Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov will also take part in the negotiations.
