A working visit of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych to the Russian Federation, which was planned for December 18, was postponed.

The press service reminds that the topics of the meeting of the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia were defined urgent issues of the Ukrainian-Russian cooperation, in particular, in energy and trade-economic areas. In particular - elaboration of mutually acceptable mechanism of interaction of Ukraine with the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
For successful implementation of these arrangements the additional consultations at expert level are necessary. That is why the sides agreed to carry over the date of the visit, the press service notes.
