The Kyivsky District Court of Kharkiv has yet again postponed the trial in the fabricated criminal case against Yulia Tymoshenko involving the activities of United Energy Systems of Ukraine, according to an Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"Judge Sadovsky again read a prepared statement without even considering the defense’s motions," lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko said.
The hearing was postponed due to the absence of Yulia Tymoshenko, who in a statement said that she was unable to participate in the show trial because she was undergoing treatment in a hospital. Two of her defenders in the case, Eugenia Tymoshenko and Andriy Kozhemyakin, were also absent.
Today, as during previous court sessions, Yulia Tymoshenko’s supporters picketed the Kharkiv courthouse. They held Ukrainian flags and banners with Yulia Tymoshenko’s picture and shouted "Free Yulia!" They also had a large banner that said "Injustice is creeping up to everyone. People, let’s put an end to it!"
