Tigipko threatens to block rostrum if it is banned to speak Russian

Lawmaker of Ukraine from the Party of Regions Serhiy Tigipko says that his political force will not let anybody to deliver speech from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada if lawmakers do not have a possibility to deliver speech in Russian language.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this during morning plenary sitting of the parliament today.

“I would like to ask to give a possibility to all lawmakers to deliver speech, if they want, also in Russian language. Otherwise,  we will not let anybody to deliver speech from this rostrum”, - said S. Tigipko.

The lawmaker noted that representatives of the Party of Regions will never support a forced Ukrainization.
