The Batkivshchyna party has information that it is planned to deliver ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko by force to the next court hearing of the case concerning “United Energy Systems of Ukraine” corporation.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, defender of Yu. Tymoshenko, lawmaker Serhiy Vlasenko said this at news conference today.
According to his words, employees of the State penitentiary service of Ukraine said this information to Yulia Tymoshenko.
“Yesterday Yulia Tymoshenko got information from employees of the State penitentiary service of Ukraine that the Penitentiary service received instructions to deliver Yu. Tymoshenko to the court hearing, which will take place on January 18, by force”, - said S. Vlasenko.
He noted that it is planned to involve special subdivision of the Interior Ministry “Berkut”, which received all authority for force transportation of Yu. Tymoshenko.
At the same time the defender expressed surprise that the Ukrainian physicians make statement concerning possibility of Yu. Tymoshenko to take part in the court hearings.
Answering question how representatives of the Batkivshchyna are about to prevent transportation of Yu. Tymoshenko to the court, S. Vlasenko said that opposition will use all legal means in order to prevent violation of law.
