In two months, the Government must elaborate plans of structural economy transformation for 2013, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych. It was stated by the President at the meeting with newly-appointed members of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“We must implement respective program measures in short terms. Appropriate decision will be made by the Government headed by the Prime Minister,” Viktor Yanukovych said.

The President noted that the development of domestic market, focus on crediting national industry and business, maximal involvement of national capital in the given process were the instruments necessary for protection and acceleration of Ukrainian economy. “The results of practical implementation of previous plans indicate that it is necessary to enhance control over the use of all available resources, especially the budget funds," the Head of State stressed.

The President noted that in 2013 it would be necessary to analyze all the disadvantages of the past and take them into account. “I ask everyone to elaborate plans for 2013 responsibly,” Viktor Yanukovych emphasized.

The Head of State drew particular attention to the necessity of maintaining the chosen way of state reforms. “We must go ahead. Much good has been done – we must further develop it,” the President said.

Viktor Yanukovych also stressed the importance of work with citizens in order to understand the reaction of people to changes done or planned. “Everyone must work with civic organizations, public associations, visit regions and conduct explanatory work in respective sphere,” the President addressed the members of the Government.
