Malanka festivals to take place in Chernovtsy on January 15

“Malanka-fest” will take place in Chernovtsy on January 15.

The governmental portal with reference to the press service of the Chernovtsy Oblast State Administration reports this.

According to chairman of the Oblast State Administration Mykhaylo Papiev, the Malanka festival which will take place in Chernovtsy on January 15, should become a visiting card of touristic Bukovyna and a striking illustration of the fact that the cultural and ethnic traditions have been not only preserved in the Oblast but also develop actively. According to his words, “Malanka-fest” – is a unique and special folk event, which should be known all over the world.
