Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak hopes that President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will submit a candidacy of the chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine to consideration of the parliament today.
He said this at press conference.
Answering question of UNIAN whether V. Yanukovych submitted a candidacy of the chairman of the NBU, because the parliament plans to consider an issue concerning dismissal of Serhiy Arbuzov from this post tomorrow, V. Rybak said: “As of now the candidacy is not submitted, but I hope that the President of Ukraine will submit this candidacy to the Verkhovna Rada today”.
As UNIAN reported earlier, V. Yanukovych submitted a draft resolution on dismissal of S. Arbuzov from the post of the head of the NBU to the parliament on December 24, 2012.
