VRU to consider issue on appointment of Sorkin for post of NBU chairman today

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider an issue concerning dismissal of Serhiy Arbuzov from the post of the chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine and appointment of Ihor Sorkin for this post.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, today’s agenda also includes ratification of a range of agreements.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 9 President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych offered the parliament to appoint I. Sorkin for the post of the NBU chairman.
