Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara and Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov became honorary doctors of Chernivtsi National University n.a. Yuriy Fedkovych.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, chancellor of the university, professor Stepan Melnichuk gave mantles of honorary doctors and corresponding diplomas to Foreign Ministers.
L. Kozhara and S. Lavrov delivered brief speeches before the professional and teaching staff of Chernivtsi National University n.a. Yuriy Fedkovych.
All streets, leading to Chernivtsi National University n.a. Yuriy Fedkovych, and all squares were occupied with employees of the law-enforcement bodies in the morning in Chernovtsy. They tried to prevent carrying out of protests actions against visit of S. Lavrov to Chernivsti.
