Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara will take part in events on the occasion of the beginning of chairmanship of Ukraine in OSCE in Austria today.

The Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that incumbent chairman of the OSCE L. Kozhara will officially present priorities and program of the chairmanship of Ukraine in this organization during the sitting of the OSCE’s Permanent Council  in Vienna on January 17.

The priorities of the Ukrainian chairmanship include issues of settlement of long conflicts at the territory of the OSCE, strengthening of control regime over arms, trust and security measures, prevention of negative influence of energy activity on environment. Ukraine will pay much attention to struggle against human trafficking, protection of freedom of speech and other important issue of humanitarian aspect of the OSCE.
