Kyiv organization of the Batkivshchyna party formed a human chain “Freedom to Yulia! Freedom to Ukraine!” at Metro bridge today, on Day of Unity of Ukraine.
The press service of the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union disclosed to UNIAN that starting from 8.00 am participants of the action formed a human chain, holding big letters “Freedom to Yulia! Freedom to Ukraine!”, state flags and party symbols.
The Batkivshchyna noted that a human chain was formed in sign of support of leader of the party Yulia Tymoshenko and in sympathy with actions of Yu. Tymoshenko.
“This chain is a symbolic unity of all like-minded people-patriots, who are ready to protect their Motherland and their leader from a gang of political terrorists”, noted the organizers of the action.
In whole about more than one thousand of people took part in the action.
