President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych congratulated Miloš Zeman on being elected to the post of the President of Czech Republic, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
“Please accept my congratulations on the occasion of your victory at Presidential elections. The trust of voters indicates recognition of your undisputed contribution to the formation and development of Czech Republic and its economic prosperity,” the President said.
Viktor Yanukovych emphasized that Czech Republic remained an important political and trade-economic partner for Ukraine in the EU because that country actively supported European integration aspirations of Ukraine.
“I am confident that your presidency will give a powerful boost to further gradual development of Ukrainian-Czech cooperation and create new important projects in all spheres of mutual interest,” the Head of State noted.
Viktor Yanukovych wished Miloš Zeman strong health and success at his post. He also wished peace and welfare to Czech people.
Besides, the President invited Miloš Zeman to visit Ukraine on an official visit at his convenience.
