European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle will pay a visit to Ukraine on February 7-8, 2013.
The Mission of the European Union in Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that the European Commissioner will meet with President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak and ombudsman Valeria Lutkovska.
Š. Füle will also visit a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Then he will deliver a speech before a group of the members of the parliament consisting of chairmen of the parliamentary committees and members of three committees (on foreign affairs, European integration, and security and defense). The European Commissioner will also meet with leaders of opposition.
During the meetings they will discuss main topics concerning relations of the EU and Ukraine, preparation for the summit EU-Ukraine, which is to take place on February 25 in Brussels, perspectives of conclusion of Agreement on association between the EU and Ukraine.
Š. Füle will also meet with members of business-society, which is represented by the European business association. In the afternoon he will deliver a public speech and will take part in discussion with students, and representatives of civil society.
