European Parliament (EP) President Martin Schulz has announced that the EPs mission will continue to monitor court proceedings involving former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko, according to an Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"We agreed that the mission should continue. The conference of presidents decided unanimously that Aleksander Kwasniewski and Pat Cox should continue all the necessary steps to improve the legal situation and daily conditions for not only Yulia Tymoshenko but all prisoners," Martin Schulz said at a briefing today in Strasbourg, France.

According to the head of the EP, the mission will continue to be in direct contact with the government, parliament and judicial institutions of Ukraine.
