President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will pay a state visit to Turkmenistan on February 12-14.
The press service of the President of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that chief of staff of the Administration of President of Ukraine Serhiy Lyovochkin said this.
During the visit the head of the Ukrainian state will hold talks with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, will visit Lebap Province, where he will take part in events dedicated to opening and beginning of building of infrastructure objects at the territory of Turkmenistan with involvement of the Ukrainian companies.
As a result it is planned to sign Agreement on intensification of friendship and cooperation between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, which will consolidate the main bilateral arrangements concerning stirring up of interaction in many areas of cooperation.
The Chief of Staff of the Administration of President of Ukraine also said that within a framework of the visit it is planned to sign a range of the bilateral documents directed to broadening of cooperation between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, in particular, in gas and oil, finance, military-technique, humanitarian areas, and at interregional level.
