VRU sitting did not open, opposition continues blocking rostrum

A sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not open today and opposition continues blocking the rostrum of the parliament.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, lawmakers from all factions of the parliament stay in the session hall of the parliament.

The Batkivshchyna faction’s lawmakers are blocking the rostrums and the lawmakers from the UDAR faction are blocking the presidium of the parliament. Some lawmakers from the Svoboda faction stay at their working places and some of them stay near the rostrum.

As of now consultations of the leaders of the factions in an office of Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak are taking place.
