Kozhara does not stand for double citizenship

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara does not stand for an idea of implementation of a double citizenship in Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at news conference in the Cabinet of Ministers today.

“I believe that Ukraine should not encourage an idea of a double citizenship”, - said L. Kozhara.

The Minister underlined that current law on citizenship in Ukraine completely meets the demands of the Council of Europe and world legislation.
